Cairns Bicycle Works was established with a vision to share the passion and knowledge of cycling whilst utilising the expertise we have, in the cycling industry to infuse the same passion in the community. We are your local independent bicycle shop, selling quality bicycles, accessories, shoes and components. We repair all makes and models of bicycles, recumbents, wheelchairs, walkers, and more. Our friendly team of bike riders will assist you every step of the way.
Under the guidance and leadership of Marie, the team at Cairns Bicycle Works have been trained to take pride in their work and listen to our customers requirements, so we make sure to cater to all your cycling needs.
Marie, being the most experienced operator in the cycling industry in Cairns, is backed by 40 years of riding, retail and wholesale experience- making sure you get the right advice when purchasing bicycles and accessories, but also in order to kickstart your cycling adventures!
CYCLING IN CAIRNS
Cairns is such a unique location for so many reasons. It is home to the Great Barrier Reef, to ancient Rainforest and special wildlife creatures like Cassowary, Crocodiles and a range of marsupials only found in this part of the world. We also have some great locations for mountain biking and road riding. The climate is pretty special too – as we only have two seasons. A wet season and a dry season. Each season has its challenges for riding, there is something for everyone.
